Seedy Crackers

​​These crackers are quick and easy,  great with my cannellini dip, humus, avocado, tomato, or plain and simple on their own!  Have as a snack, take to work, have with soup – loads of options. 
Packed with healthy fats, protein from seeds and fibre that our bodies need, keeping us feeling fuller for longer.

Dairy and nut free – contains seeds
Here’s how:
Put 3/4 cup rolled oats in nutri bullet or high speed food processor, process till a fine flour
Add 1/4 cup pumpkin or sunflower seeds and blitz a little more
Mix in a bowl with:
1/4 cup psyllium husk 

1 TB each chia, flax and sesame seeds
1/4 cup olive or avocado oil
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp salt

  1. Mix well, roll out very thinly between two sheets of baking paper.
  2. Remove top piece of paper and cut into desired size with as knife. 
  3. Bake 20 minutes at 150 C , take out of oven, cut through and separate crackers, spread out and flip over, you may need  two oven trays. 
  4. Bake another 20 minutes until brown and crispy.
  5. Take out and cool on rack, store in an airtight container if they last that long! 

Options:
​Sprinkle over or add in some finely chopped rosemary or cumin seeds for a different flavour, spice them up with a dash of chilli flakes, garlic, ground black pepper or your favourite herbs and spices.
