Improved sleep, dreaming, staying power and clarity. These are the biggest things I've noticed since 13 September. So what happened to me on that day? Two things:
I believe one is supporting the other and they've worked in synergy and continue to do so. We're all different and what works for one may not for another but a great combo in my books.
So why is dreaming important? It happens when we're in REM sleep, one study I looked at found that REM sleep affects learning of certain mental skills so I'm feeling optimistic! It's also a time for processing and defragging our brain - you know what happens when your computer is overdue for a defrag? Brain fog springs to my mind for me. I can see why sleep deprivation is used as a form of torture! Poor sleep comes up so often for my Health Coaching clients and making small lifestyle changes can really help.
That's a story for another day.
The other question is, can KST help with habits and withdrawing from things like coffee? For me it certainly did - it's now been over a month since I had my last coffee. We're all different, what works for one may not for another. I was ready to say goodbye to my friend (AKA Long Black). It was time. I've also experienced the added bonus of the cost savings not drinking coffee, this is paying for my supplements!
As for sleep, I'm dreaming and remembering my dreams and it's the same story I'm hearing from my clients along with improved energy and staying power. Plus my restless legs seem to be a thing of the past. Keen to know more?
